Osteofit expanding across British Columbia!

Osteofit is now available in over 70 facilities across the province with some private residential communities offering classes to their tenants. Osteofit is available in Cantonese, Mandarin and French in the lower mainland with hopes to increase the Cantonese classes. For a complete list of Osteofit programs available throughout BC click here and select the "Find a class" tab. Note, not all levels of Osteofit are available at each location. Classes are subject to sufficient registration.

Osteofit collaborates with Fraser Health to create Get Up & Go!

BC Women's Osteofit has collaborated with Fraser Health Falls and Injury Prevention to develop an entry level Osteofit program for those with mobility impairments. Get Up & Go! is an exercise program for seniors at high risk for falls and those using mobility aids (canes, walkers and wheelchairs) who would otherwise be unable to attend a community based exercise class. It is a safe exercise program designed to improve strength, balance and coordination as well as functional ability, independence and quality of life.

Contact Fraser Health or telephone 604- 587-7866 or click here and choose the "Find a class" tab for class locations and more information. Get Up & Go! is taught by registered Osteofit instructors.
