Our clinic provide support for breastfeeding families through lactation services.
The Breastfeeding Clinic offers clinical support and information to breastfeeding families who are staying at BC Women’s Hospital, and those who are in the community as outpatients. We also provide information and support to health care providers throughout BC.
Our specialty nurse lactation consultants provide these services to parents and their babies. We hold breastfeeding outpatient clinics every Monday and Thursday.
You do not need a referral to use this service, but you do need an appointment. To book an appointment, please contact us using the details below.
Our patient services are open to everyone.
We are unable to provide assessments over the phone.
