Opening Secrets

Many people that we work with here at the clinic express how difficult it is to live with HIV and AIDS. They don't know how to talk with others about it. So they live their lives in secret. The stigma and discrimination that exists in the world towards people who are living with HIV/AIDS is very real. It often comes from a place of fear and a lack of education. The photographs that you will see were part of a World AIDS Day project. We wanted these photographs to reflect the Human Being behind the HIV. So often we forget that people diagnosed with this illness are more than a disease. These photos are of people who live with this illness every day. Their words are for you to consider.
