Anonymous194AnonymousI recently had to have a breast biopsy. I was seen on time with no waiting. The nurses and doctor went through exactly what they were going to do and were doing at any given moment and made what could have been a stressful and nerve-wracking procedure remarkably calm. 02/08/2023 6:28:30 PM
M193MThank you to everyone who helped me when I had a minor procedure performed in October of 2022. Everyone involved in my procedure was so professional, attentive, and kind. The experience was overwhelmingly positive, and gave me confidence and comfort in knowing I was getting quality care.24/05/2023 8:55:46 PM
Claire Parrish192Claire ParrishThank you to the nurses in the Arbutus recovery ward, in particular, Lauren and Kelly, who cared for myself and my baby so diligently during their shifts. They were knowledgable, pragmatic, caring and helped us understand all of our options with regards to postpartum health, including baby feeding. Una, Colin and I will be forever grateful.01/05/2023 9:52:08 PM
Anonymous191AnonymousI had a surgery recently, and I would like to send my HUGE THANKS to the people in the surgical department and nurses in the PACU and Evergreen Unit. I won't forget the squeeze on my hand and comforting words I first heard upon waking up while in the recovery unit with RN Dhong. All your care - big and small- made a difference in my experience.17/02/2023 6:37:51 PM
Emmy190EmmyI would like to convey my heartfelt gratitude to all the staff of BC Women's. From the moment we stepped into the hospital entrance for my major surgery, up to the day of my discharge, I felt very well cared for. All the staff whom I and my family have encountered, including the volunteers and greeters at the entrance, housekeeping, porters, nurses and doctors have a ready smile.17/02/2023 6:28:52 PM
Anonymous189AnonymousThank you to the labour and delivery nurse who attended the birth of my son around 4pm on August 9, 2022. He was enormous (10 lbs 3 oz) and came in just a few hours and the hospital was busy. I was in a lot of pain and desperate for an epidural and you took my needs seriously. Your sense of urgency was deeply appreciated. I can't remember your name, but I hope this finds you.17/02/2023 3:48:19 AM
Barbara Campbell188Barbara CampbellThank you for the wonderful, caring team that assisted with my breast biopsy on Feb. 14. I am a 23-year survivor and am so pleased with all that you do.16/02/2023 9:46:57 PM
Monica187MonicaI wanted to send a HUGE thank you to everyone in the surgical program. As a nurse myself, I know what it can be like working in a hospital, but the way I was treated made it feel like there were no challenges behind the scenes. Special shout out to Money and Tamiko who were truly 2 of the best nurses I have been cared for by. Thank you to Dr. Lin for exception care and bedside manner! 07/01/2023 5:20:40 PM
Joan186JoanThank you to all the staff who delivered my son and took care of us in October: nurses, doctors on FPMS, OBs, anesthesiologists, porters, kitchen, housekeeping. It was a rough and challenging time, but many thoughtful and kind interactions, even small gestures, reassured us. Special shoutout to Jennifer, our nurse on Arbutus, who truly went above and beyond to make us feel heard and cared for!31/12/2022 6:31:24 AM
