Keturah107KeturahI have received exemplary care from nearly all of the staff I have encountered at the internal medicine clinic at BC Women's Hospital, from reception to nurses and physicians. I would especially like to thank Dr. Hugel for her professionalism and insightful explanations. She created a welcoming, informative and reassuring environment. Thanks to her and to the team for all the compassionate care.21/03/2019 12:25:18 AM
Danielle106DanielleWe had our daughter on February 11th, and though, her entry into the world was quite stressful (heart rate issues triggering an emergency C-section), the team at BC Women's was incredible. Kind, supportive, thoughtful and compassionate. The decision-making to go forward with surgery when we did, plus the care team responsible for our recovery for our 3-day stay was just the best.21/02/2019 2:56:59 AM
Cathy105CathyThank you BC Women's!!! Early 2016, in the midst of a miscarriage (I am in my 40s and live in Burnaby) my husband in desperation called BC Women's for help. A lady took the call, calmed him & patiently redirected him to leave a message on another number. A call back was quick, we were asked to come in to confirm nothing was left behind. The compassion & care at BC Women's helped us through a devastating loss. 19/02/2019 7:25:41 PM
Jennifer103JenniferI recently gave birth to my second baby boy at BC Women's. Our nurse Bianca was fantastic throughout!!! Charge nurse Daisy was also great. Thank you both for supporting us and helping to deliver our healthy baby.22/01/2019 10:08:57 PM
Sarah102SarahWe're very thankful for the care and counsel we received prenatally with our little one. Finding out they have a rare congenital defect is not easy, but the calming bedside manner of Dr. Burrows in Ultrasound, Dr Lim & Dr. Dahlgren in MFM eased our worry and gave us informed understanding. And an extra special thank you to Dr. Dahlgren for supporting and encouraging our VBAC! 14/01/2019 6:10:44 PM
Krysti100KrystiAll the nurse's of CARE made my experience one that I'll never forget, on a day that by most is considered tough, they made me feel calm and comfortable. To the nurse who was with me for most of the day and procedure: thank you for your patience and reassurance, your calm and understanding nature is something I'll never forget, I cannot speak highly enough of you.13/12/2018 2:19:03 AM
Andre98AndreThank you to the NICU staff for the good care provided for our son, Gabriel, one year ago. He spent 30 stressful days in your good hands and now is a strong and healthy toddler. You guys fight the good fight! We are going back to Brazil now with our hearts filled with gratitude. Gabriel will be taught to always be a donor and a supporter of BC Women's :)07/12/2018 11:42:35 PM
Mina95MinaI really appreciate Nurse Annabella from the labor and delivery department. I gave birth to my baby in the end of May. Annabella was the nurse who took care of my donation of umbilical cord blood. She was really a huge help during my labor and provided useful instructions. All the best to Annabella!!! My thanks to Annabella!!!10/11/2018 6:46:58 PM
Sarah94SarahLittle Eben was born 10 days ago at 35 weeks due to a potentially serious medical issue. He was tiny, even for 35 weeks, and my anxiety definitely ramped up! Throughout everything—pregnancy, admission for 9 days prior to birth, the c-section and postpartum— all staff were outstanding. Big cheers to Drs. Bloomenthal, Phang & Kilpatrick, and the OR, NICU, Evergreen and Arbutus staff. Amazing! 27/10/2018 9:30:46 AM
