The Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic provides care to people with complicated pregnancies who need specialized care.
We treat people whose pregnancy involves risks. These might come from maternal health conditions, complicated medical history or concerns about the fetus.
Patients need a referral from a doctor, midwife or obstetrician to be seen at the clinic.
1Complete the referral form
Complete the entire referral form. Include details about the patient’s medical history and any diagnoses or tests completed to date, including antenatal records.
2Submit the referral form
Fax the referral form to 604-875-3255.
3Review of referral
Our clinical team will review the referral and will triage the patient accordingly.
4After the referral
The program reviews all referrals carefully. We will follow up with you to inform you whether we have accepted or declined the referral.
If we accept the referral, we will contact the patient directly to book an appointment.
