The Complex Contraception Clinic provides care to medically complex patients over the age of 15 with a history of:
- Cancer or current cancer
- Cardiovascular disease
- Migraines
- Seizure disorders
- Thrombosis/thrombophilia
- Bleeding disorders
- Obesity
- Dialysis
- Immobility/spinal cord injury
- Uterine anomaly
- Previous difficult IUD insertion
- Side effect/intolerance of standard contraceptive methods
Our clinic does not offer sedation services for contraceptive procedures. If your patient requires sedation services or a higher level of care, please refer them to a local gynecologist.
For patients requiring pessary care, please refer them to urogynecology.
1Complete the referral form

2Send the referral
Please fax the completed referral form and supporting documentation to: 778-504-9805.
3Post referral
Our nursing team reviews referrals. We triage patient based on symptomology, diagnosis and nature of disability.
4Appointment with a provider
Once you have submitted your referral, no further action is required. We will contact patients directly to schedule an appointment.
Our clinic hours include Tuesday afternoons, once per month.
