Our clinic provides expert advice and ongoing support to people with blood disorders during pregnancy, pre-pregnancy and postpartum.
Patients need a referral from a physician or midwife to attend the clinic, and they must be registered to give birth at BC Women’s Hospital. Find more information on our

Please bring your BC Care Card and photo ID to your appointment.
We are a scent-free clinic. Please do not use scented products such as cologne/perfume, lotions or hair products when you come to the clinic, to protect those patients and staff who are sensitive to these.
If you need new anticoagulant therapy, we may book you for another appointment where a nurse can teach you self-injection.
BC Women’s Hospital is a provincial teaching centre, so there may be fellows and residents taking part in your care.
