BC Women's integrates mental health care into all its programs and services. Specialized services for women are also available on the campus.
The BC Reproductive Mental Health is a program of BC Mental Health & Substance Use Services offered on the Oak Street campus. Services are available by referral only. Please visit the Women's Reproductive Mental Health Program website for detailed information about the program.
The program assesses, treats and supports women and their families who are dealing with mental health disorders and psychological difficulties related to pregnancy and following the birth of their baby. Psychological concerns associated with infertility, pregnancy loss and premenstrual dysphoric disorder are also assessed and treated. Pre-pregnancy planning for those with existing mental health disorders can be provided.
