Making virtual health work for our patients

Throughout the month of September, patients and families with virtual health appointments will be asked to participate in a virtual health survey.

If you have a virtual health appointment scheduled in September 2020, you may be asked to participate in a survey about your virtual health experience. Participation in the survey is not mandatory and if you decline it will not impact the care you receive from the hospital.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BC Children's Hospital and BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre significantly increased health care services delivered through virtual health earlier this year.

We will use feedback from the survey to help develop and refine virtual health services for patients. Due to COVID-19, your thoughts and feedback are particularly important right now and the information you share will be foundational to the delivery of healthcare services going forward.

We expect to share a summary of survey results which will be available on our website later this year.

If you have been asked to complete the survey and you have questions, please email: or call toll-free 1-844-874-3267.
