Little Sophia was born at 1:18 a.m. to one of our own unit clerks, Sonya Daluro, and she weighs in at seven pounds and two ounces. Sophia is the family's third child, and we couldn't be more happy for them!
The Daluros are resting, but happy. They think meeting Sophia is wonderful way to welcome 2019.
The first baby born in all of B.C. today was a real early bird—he said hello at 12:01 a.m. at the Royal Columbian Hospital.
