Can’t read the parking stall number in our lot? We’ve got a solution

The numbers of the parking stalls in our lot are set to be painted soon and in the meantime, Impark has advice for those parking in stalls with illegible numbers.

​Trying to park in our lot and can’t read the number of your stall? Impark has a solution.

When paying at the pay station, if you can’t see your stall number, please enter 1111. 

Impark, which runs the parking lots, will post signage soon.

How to pay for parking

With credit card or cash:

  • Park in any 'Patient and Visitor Parking Only' stall.
  • Remember your stall number - if you can’t read it, use the 1111 code.
  • Go to the nearest parking meter. Pay stations can be found at every major entrance to the hospital.
  • Touch the screen to activate the meter.
  • Input stall number.
  • Scroll through menu to find the appropriate rate.
  • Pay the required rate by exact coin or credit card (Note: the dispenser does not accept debit cards and does not provide change).
  • Keep your receipt with you; you do not need to return to your vehicle to display the receipt.
  • If you paid for parking but need to come and go, simply park in any available patient parking stall and display your parking meter receipt on your dash.

If paying by phone:

  • Dial 604.662.7275.
  • Enter location #15518 when prompted.
  • If you paid for parking but need to come and go, simply park in any available. patient/visitor parking stall until your parking expires.

If you have a Pay-by-Phone mobile app:

  • Use location number 15518.
  • Enter your licence plate number and your duration of parking.
  • If you paid for parking but need to come and go, simply park in any available. patient/visitor parking stall until your parking expires.

Free parking for certain patients 

Some patients are exempt from pay parking. For more information, please read the March 2022 BC Government announcement. Read more on the BC Women's website.

Financial hardship permits may be available on a case- by-case basis. Please talk to your unit social worker for more information.
