Health Services
BC Women’s has many health-centre based or community outreach programs addressing specific health issues for BC women. Services include:
Abortion:
Abuse Against Women:
Breast Health:
Fertility:
Gynecological & Reproductive Health Services:
- The Access clinic provides gyencological services for women with disabilities.
- An Asian Women’s Health clinic offering screening services and wellness education.
- Incontinence education and support program.
- A Reproductive Mental Health Program offering consultation and treatment for women experiencing mental health problems related to their reproductive cycle.
- The Reproductive Medicine Program offers a number of reproductive health services for women and their partners in the areas of pregnancy loss, infertility, premature ovarian failure, endometriosis, and menstrual irregularities. It also operates an outpatient Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC), which offers assessment of early pregnancy complications, diagnosis and management of early pregnancy loss, as well as supportive counseling and follow up care.
HIV Care of Women and Children:
- An Oak Tree Clinic dedicated to the care of women and children with HIV, offering medical, psychosocial care and support for the family.
Osteoporois:
- An Osteofit community-based program to help people with osteoporosis improve their fitness and reduce their risk of fracture.
- An Osteoporosis Program for men and women.
Pregnancy:
- The Family Practice Centre provides a full scope of family practice services to individuals and families living in the Vancouver area.

- The Aurora Centre providing residential and day treatment for women recovering from substance dependency.
