Reproductive Mental Health 

Approximately 1 in 12 women will experience mental illness or an emotional disorder related to their reproductive cycle including:

• Depression
• Panic Attacks
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Psychosis

The Reproductive Mental Health Program helps women and their families every day with these conditions. You need to be a BC resident and a referral from a physician or midwife to access our clinical services.

We are open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We also:

• Provide consultations and training to health and community care providers across the province.
• Work in collaboration with other service providers to deliver quality care to our patients and their families as described in our Perinatal Depression Framework.
• Have our popular patient guide available 'Self-Care Program for Women with Postpartum Depression and Anxiety'  to download at no charge or for order from the C&W Bookstore.
• Develop publications for both public and professional use such as the Guide to Postpartum Blues and PPD and our NEW Perinatal Depression Worksheets.
• Update resources related to Reproductive Mental Health.
