The physiotherapists at BC Women’s Hospital offer clinical expertise to the obstetric patient through:
· Physiotherapy classes (inpatient and outpatient)
· Individual outpatient appointments
· Diabetes Ambulatory Clinic
· Inpatient assessment/treatment services
· Patient/family educational material/pamphlets
The physiotherapists are also directly affiliated with the University of British Columbia and provide classroom instruction to the physiotherapy students as well as supervised clinical instruction.
