Fetal and Early Child Behavior Study
For this new study, we continue to study the effects of the medications perscribed to treat depression during pregnancy on child development. At this time these medications are considered to be a necessary part of the clinical standard of care to treat depression during pregnancy, yet there is more to understand about the effects on the developing child before and after birth. This new information may help us improve treatment during and following pregnancy and the health of exposed infants.
Who can participate in our study?
- Healthy pregnant women, and
- Pregnant women experiencing depression (treated with or without antidepressant medication).
Be a part of a rewarding research study!
Help us learn more about the effects of antidepressant medication on child development.
