BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre's Reproductive Mental Health Program offers consultation and treatment for women experiencing mental health problems due to their reproductive cycle.
BC Women's doesn't provide general mental health services, but an affiliated agency, the BC Mental Health & Addiction Services (BCMHAS), provides a diverse range of mental health services to people across B.C. including:
- Specialized tertiary mental health treatment services for adults and children;
- Forensic psychiatric services;
- Research and knowledge exchange;
- Mental health promotion.
You can also visit the Canadian Mental Health Association, which is a nation-wide, charitable organization that promotes mental health and supports the resilience and recovery of people experiencing mental illness.
The Mood Disorders Association of British Columbia provides information and support on mood disorders to those in need.
