Welcome to the Breast Health Services webpage at BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre.
Our multidisciplinary team includes specialized technologists, radiologists, nurses, and clerks. We offer two services for women: Screening Mammography and Diagnostic Services.
Screening Mammography:
This program offers screening mammograms, which are the best way to find early breast cancer. The earlier a cancer is detected, the more options a woman has for treatment and the better chance she has for a cure. Please see the Screening Mammography page for more information on about this service and how you can book a screening mammogram (no doctor's referral is required).
Diagnostic Services:
This program is for women who have an abnormality detected from their Screening Mammogram, or by an examination by their physician.
