BC Children’s Hospital, including Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, and BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre are fully accredited by Accreditation Canada for 2008 to 2011. This is the highest level of accreditation granted to a healthcare organization following an assessment of the quality of its services in the context of nationally accepted standards.
BC Children’s and BC Women’s are dedicated to improving quality healthcare through the accreditation process and were among the first health care facilities in Canada to go through Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum program.
We are committed to ensuring the safety of all our patients and their families, visitors, physicians, and staff. Through continuous quality improvement, we embed Accreditation Canada standards and tools into everything we do.
